Mould construction for plastic item

Our aim is not to offer simply a mould, but a full service in order to grant the products the longest life. The main phase to manufacture a mould in the best way is its correct design in order to:
- find and foresee production criticality
- choose the proper materials and the heat treatments
- facilitate the maintenance, even directly in the moulding machine to minimize the idle times

For this reason the engineering department makes use of updated CAD-CAM programs that can use both the native files and the imported ones.
DM grants the test of the mould, the possible changes in order to optimise the equipment, the regular and the extraordinary maintenance and the complete support of our technicians. The “total quality” both in the manufacture of the mould and during its whole life is our purpose in order to offer a precise, reliable and long-lasting product.
DM is specialized in the production of multicavity hot runs moulds with very low tolerance on each cavity.
Some of our moulds have manufactured hundreds of millions of pieces and they are still running after many years of work.
